Trendy tees can cost $30 or more, but you can make them for a fraction of that! In this hands-on class, you’ll use a different technique each night to create a graphic tee that you’ll take home. By the end of the week, you’ll have a distressed tee, a selfie tee, an emoji tee, and a geometric tee—plus the skills needed to make more. You can create a whole new wardrobe for yourself, family, and friends—or create your own line of custom t-shirts. Mick will discuss how to do so on a budget. Camp fee includes four 100%-cotton t-shirts plus all materials. Register no later than July 6 and indicate your t-shirt size. Never buy department store tees again!

Anyone can create beautiful clothes, bedding, handbags, jewelry, placemats, tablecloths, lamp shades, wall hangings, wrapping paper, and more! You needn’t draw; you can use patterns and techniques like waxing, salting, and alcohol to create your design. Projects include scrunch-n-run, Japanese shibori & other tie-dying, batiks, and painting. Typical hand-painted silk scarves sell for around $45 apiece—but you can make them for $5 to $7, and you’ll take home 2-3 pieces each night! $80 material fee covers all silks and design supplies as well as a frame, bottles with tips, and mixing cups for making more pieces at home since this can easily be done in a kitchen or on a balcony.  *See class confirmation for details on what to wear and bring.
