Feeling stressed, scattered, or strained? Apply the basics of Chinese healing to acupressure massage on yourself or others. Dr. Martin will introduce you to Chinese and holistic medicine, discussing concepts like chi, acupressure meridians, yin and yang, and Chinese tongue diagnosis. You’ll learn approximately 16 acupressure points to use for common problems like low energy, mental clarity, and body aches – as well as a basic head and neck massage technique that works wonders for sore shoulders and even migraine headaches. No partner necessary for this class, but you will be practicing the neck release points on classmates.  Bring a small hand mirror and a water soluble-marker to class.

Save a life! Learn first aid, CPR, and AED for adults as well as infants and children. Find out how to identify and manage heart attack and stroke, perform the Heimlich maneuver, and treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Get critical skills needed to manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the minutes before professional help arrives. You will receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card (allow two weeks). This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
